Art Show

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE COMMITTEE’S WORK: 

 

  • Partnership with art teachers 

  • All art work provided by the art teachers needs to be mounted and tagged in preparation for presentation during the art show

  • Due to the thousands of pieces of art work displayed, this occurs from October through the week of the Art Show

  • We also need volunteers the two days prior to the Art Show for set-up 

  • When the art show concludes we need volunteers for take down of the art work

  • Attend monthly PTO meetings and present updates as needed

 

 

SCHEDULED EVENTS (WITH DATES IF AVAILABLE): 

 

  • Every other Thursday morning from 9:00-11:00 am beginning in October

  • The Art show is usually in late April

  • We will also need additional volunteers to help set up 2 days prior to the art show 

  • Additional volunteers needed to take down after the art show 

 

CAN WORK BE DONE OUTSIDE OF SCHOOL? 

  • No

 

ROUGH ESTIMATE OF HOURS INVOLVED AS CHAIR/MEMBER:  

  • 2 hours every other week for art work mounting 

  • Any amount of time you can provide during the two days of Art Show set-up 

  • About 2 hours for art show take down
